*Inspired*

Hi there :)
I'm still getting into this whole, blog thing.
But for a while I have been seeing a lot of posts online of quotes from inspiring people. So I wanted to share with you some inspiring people to me. Or should I say, inspiring fashion idols of mine :)

.Audrey Hepburn.

.Tavi Gevinson.

.Twiggy.
I don't know if I have mentioned before (probably not considering I only have two posts...) but I have quite a passion for the fashion industry, and fashion alone. When I was younger I was always drawing outfits and designs. It's in my blood. I think that adds in to why these ladies are so inspiring to me!

Audrey Hepburn is very well known. From what I have read about Miss Hepburn, she has pretty much done everything! She is an icon of class and innocence.
"It's that wonderful old-fashioned idea that others come first and you come second. This was the whole ethic by which I was brought up. Others matter more than you do, so 'don't fuss, dear; get on with it.'"
That quote sums up why she is one of the ladies that inspires me the most. Her selflessness.

Tavi Gevinson has been my idol since I can remember. I literally wanted to be her. Being that she is only about a year younger than I am, it made me adore her even more. Tavi started a blog in 2008 and posted pictures showing off her impressive sense of fashion and style, and her opinions on the latest trends and what not. Long story short, the industry noticed her and they liked her. And now she is a writer and magazine editor. Crazy! One of the reasons why she was such an inspiration to me was the fact that she is only a year younger than me. It really made me put into perspective that I can do anything to set my mind and heart to.
"Personal style is an opportunity to kind of create your own fantasy. And that can be-and this word is so overused-but empowering in a way, especially when you feel like you have to have a certain force field around you to the outside world."

Twiggy has been a fashion icon since the 60's. I really don't know what else to say about her. I still consider her a fashion icon. She brought a new look to the table with her slim, somewhat awkward, figure and her exquisite make up style. She was never cocky about her modeling, and that is inspiring.
"The most important thing about dreams is having one."

I hope this post makes you ponder the people who inspire you, and why it is that they inspire you.
Have a lovely day, lovelies.
